DST COVID INFORMATION 

We are following recommended safety protocols (and more) to ensure a safe theater experience for all. The following plan details what we’re doing to keep our audiences, actors, and employees safe. 


 

GENERAL INFORMATION

Subject to change following CDC and State Recommendations.

 

LIMITED AUDIENCE CAPACITY

Seating capacity may include some socially-distanced seating available for each performance

 

PHYSICAL DISTANCING

Social distancing is encouraged.

 

FACE COVERINGS

The First Sunday Matinee performance may be dedicated as mask required performances for our patrons who are more comfortable wearing masks.

ALL other performances will be mask optional.

 

HAND SANITIZING STATIONS

Hand sanitation stations are available at the entrance in the lobby and the main entry points in the theater. 

 

DIGITAL TICKETS

Patrons will be encouraged to have tickets emailed rather than picked up at Will Call when possible. Tickets ordered online will be email only. 

 

DIGITAL PLAYBILLS 

Digital playbills are available for viewing on personal cellular devices. Accessible through our website and QR codes at the entrance to the theater.

 

EMPLOYEE SAFETY MEASURES 

Employees with flu-like symptoms will be sent home. 

  

MEET-AND-GREET

Meet-and-greets between actors and patrons will take place outside the lobby area within the food court

 


ACTOR’S SAFETY PLAN

Subject to change following CDC and State Recommendations.

 

PRIOR TO THE START OF REHEARSALS:
  • Actors requested to follow CDC guidelines prior to the beginning of rehearsals:

  • Actors recommended to obtain a COVID-19 vaccine
DURING REHEARSAL PROCESS:
  • Face coverings are encouraged, but not required. Actors shall to provide their own face coverings
  • Report a known exposure and/or Covid symptoms to the Covid Compliance Officer before attending rehearsal.
  • Weekly Health check, initiated by Covid Officer, to ensure health of cast.
  • Actors with Covid or flu like symptoms, known exposures, or fevers, contact Covid Officer before attending rehearsal
DURING PERFORMANCES: 
  • Actors may perform without face coverings.
  • Actors wipe down dressing room area after each use (chair and counter) using provided supplies 
  • Disinfecting cleaner and hand sanitizer are located throughout dressing rooms, green room, and backstage/side stage areas 
  • Backstage areas will be strictly restricted to essential personnel only
  • Wearing face coverings while in the dressing rooms is recommended
  • Cleaning supplies provided to additionally sanitize props as desired during performance
  • Actors with Covid or flu like symptoms, known exposures, or fevers, contact Covid Officer before coming to the theater.
